1 Scary liquor store customer. A man pulled a knife and threatened to kill an employee at Pyramid Liquors, 599 W. Littleton Blvd, Littleton, on March 27 after the employee threw him out for cursing at the woman running the cash register. The man was mad the store didn’t have the size of bottle of liquor he wanted. When escorted through the front door, he pulled a knife and said he would kill the employee. He was not apprehended.

2 He must not work out. Two unknown men unsuccessfully tried to break into Santa Fe Spirits liquor store at 6023 S. Santa Fe Drive, Littleton, early on March 22. They backed a Hummer H3 SUV up to the front doors, got out and used a blunt object to hit the front door and several windows but didn’t break them. Estimated damage is $1,200.

3 Alarm alarms would-be thief. Someone kicked in a garage door, knocking out a piece of Plexiglas and triggering the alarm of an auto shop in the 4200 block of South Broadway, Englewood, on March 30. Nothing was taken.

4 Driver drunk and on drugs. Police pulled a man over in the 1100 block of East Jefferson Avenue, Englewood, on April 10. He allegedly was drunk and carrying cocaine.

5 Shady bankers. Two Englewood-area women on March 28 reported two men they met asked them to open checking accounts and give them the debit cards for them. The men said they would pay the women for their service. Both accounts went deep into the negative. The women were afraid the men would hurt them if they closed the accounts. (Not on map.)
