Denver Police detained a middle school boy after finding the student took a BB gun to school on Thursday.
School leaders at Hill Campus of Arts and Sciences placed the school on lockdown at 12:47 p.m. as soon as they received a report of a student with a gun, said Will Jones, a spokesman for Denver Public Schools.
