A custodian at a Falcon elementary school was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly sending photos of his genitalia to a person he believed was an underage teenager.

Dylan David Kern, 23, was arrested by investigators with the First Judicial District Attorney’s office, according to a news release from the office. The investigators work with the office’s Child Sex Offender Internet Investigations unit.

An investigator was allegedly contacted by Kern on a social networking website. The investigator was portraying himself on the website as a female child under the age of 15.

Kern, believing the person he was connecting with was a teenager, sent photos of his genitalia and asked for “naughty” pictures in return, according to the release.

Kern then said he could take another picture of himself inside the custodial closet at Woodmen Hills Elementary School, where he worked. At that point, investigators decided to go to Colorado Springs and arrest Kern.

Police transported Kern to Jefferson County where he was booked into the jail. Kern was arrested on suspicion of two felony counts of internet sexual exploitation of a child.
