The trailer for the animated feature “Batman: The Killing Joke” was unveiled Tuesday night.
The movie is an adaptation of Alan Moore’s classic graphic novel of the same name. Released in 1988, it was the Eisner Award for best graphic album in 1989.
It is the first movie in the DC Universe Original Movie franchise to receive an R rating, .
The movie is slated for a July 2016 release date and stars Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill as Batman and Joker, respectively.
