Fairview leads Cherry Creek heading into the final day of the Class 5A girls state tennis tournament at the Gates Tennis Center and the Knights have a chance to halt the Bruins’ 19-year grip on the team title.
The Knights lead in points 58-56 and and both teams have berths in three finals, including head-to-head at No. 3 singles.
In Pueblo, 4A perennial power Cheyenne Mountain has a 13-point lead over Kent Denver, but three Sun Devils are alive in four of the seven finals.
