
Local and federal police are investigating a Thursday bank robbery in Westminster.
The robbery happened at about 5:15 p.m. at the Bellco Credit Union at 12101 Huron Street.
According to a news release from the FBI, the suspect was armed with a gun, wearing dark clothing, dark sunglasses and a light-colored dust or surgical mask.
He fled the bank to the east, getting into a brown or copper colored four-door sedan.
He is described as white or Hispanic, standing between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a skinny build weighing approximately 150 pounds and with “scruffy” facial hair.
