Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman on Monday.

At about 2:41 p.m., police were called to an apartment at 1429 Macon Street to a “report of a down party.”

When police arrived, they discovered a woman with apparent head trauma. She was transported to the hospital but later died.

The identity of the woman has not been released.

Police are not releasing any suspect information, but are asking anyone who may have information about the case to contact Agent Todd Fredericksen at 303-739-6106 or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). Tipsters to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.

Aurora police on Monday also found a man . Police are also looking for information in that homicide.
