1 Unruly customer bites security. On April 30, Denver police responded to the Viewhouse, 2015 Market St., after a customer acted unruly when asked to leave. According to a security guard, the suspect was extremely intoxicated and began shouting profanities. He then bit the guard on the arm and was arrested for assault.

2 Man overuses gas station bathroom. A man called police May 2 to report that he wanted a suspect to leave his gas station, a Diamond Shamrock, 1945 Federal Blvd. The reporting employee said the suspect had been in the bathroom for 40 minutes and at times was screaming and pounding on the walls. He was discovered in a dazed state with burned tinfoil.

3 Blood brothers fight. On April 30, two men were cited for public fighting after being observed by an officer in the 1500 block of East Colfax Avenue. Police were flagged down by a witness while on a detox call. The men claimed to be blood brothers and one needed medical attention.

4 Pizza place prank called. On April 27, employees at Blackjack Pizza, 1808 E. Colfax Ave., called police to report inappropriate phone calls they had been receiving throughout the evening. The calls were obscene and intended to bother the business, which ended up having to close an hour early.

5 Drunken man grabs buttocks. On May 1, a man was arrested after spitting in the face of bar staff and grabbing the buttocks of women in the 1900 block of Market Street. Staff at Lodo’s said they wished to press charges after they were verbally assaulted and spit at during the incident.
