Colorado Springs police have arrested two people, including a 17-year-old, in connection .

Luis Anchond, 21, was taken into custody May 10 on suspicion of first-degree murder in the case, police said Monday. Authorities declined to release further information on the teen suspect’s name, gender and arrest, citing age concerns.

The two are accused in the death of 34-year-old Eric Candelaria,  slain in the 300 block of Bonnie Court on April 16.

Candelaria died of a gunshot wound, authorities say.

According to , Candelaria is survived by three daughters and a girlfriend.

“Eric had a hilarious personality and a loving and giving heart,” the obituary said. “He was a great father, son, brother, uncle, friend, an extremely hard worker and, simply put, a beautiful soul.”
