An argument led to a stabbing Wednesday in Denver near the Alameda Avenue light-rail station, Denver police said.
The victim’s wounds are not life-threatening, said Raquel Lopez, Denver Police spokeswoman.
“The victim and the suspect were in a verbal altercation, and at some point it became physical” and one person was stabbed, Lopez said.
Police responded to the incident in the 400 block of Cherokee Street at 7:27 a.m.
Police have no one in custody, and there is presently no description of the suspect.
Denver police are recording more calls for service at s in the city, and to combat criminals, RTD has expanded its security measures in recent years.
