
1. Woman assaults parents while moving out. On May 22, Denver police responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of Xavier Street where a woman assaulted her mother while she was moving out of the house. An officer noticed that the suspectap room was in disarray as though there had been a fight. The suspect said she became angry and began throwing things around the room. The officer then spoke to the mother, who said she was kicked by her daughter. The suspect was placed into custody.
2. Suspect assaults security officer. Police responded to a fight May 24 in the 2000 block of South York Street. The officer spoke to a University of Denver security officer who said he broke up a fight between the suspect and another person who had fled. The suspect punched the security officer in an attempt to get away but was taken to the ground to wait for police. The suspect was extremely intoxicated.
3. Man throws rocks at car. On May 18, a man was arrested after he was observed throwing rocks at a victim’s car and breaking the windows in the 3200 block of Leyden Street. The victim told police he had come to the area to visit a friend when he saw the suspect throwing rocks at the car. The suspect also spit at police.
4. Man exposes himself, eats pizza. Police responded to a report of indecent exposure May 19 after a man exposed himself in an area containing children in a parking lot in the 7100 block Leetsdale Drive. The reporting person said he noticed the suspect staring at children while exposed. Once the children left, the suspect returned to his car and ate pizza until police arrived.
5. Victim assaulted at home. On May 21, police responded to an assault in the 3100 block of West Conejos Place where a man was punched by a guest in the house. The victim said the suspect broke down the door to his room and began punching him in the face.
