Thornton police are looking for at least two suspects after an armed carjacking early Wednesday.
“The suspects drove up to a home in a blue Honda Civic, got out, held a man and his wife at gunpoint,and took their Hyundai Sonata,” said Matt Barnes, Thornton police spokesman. “One drove away in the blue Honda” and the other drove the Sonata, he added.
Police pursued the suspects southbound on Interstate 25 but lost them in the area of 84th Avenue and I-25 after they left the highway, Barnes said.
The incident happened at 5:40 a.m. in the 1500 block of East 130th Court.
