Regarding the issue of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server while secretary of state, letter-writer Edward C. Krug says that “no one has yet shown how this was done for personal gain in any form.” He implies that Clinton should not be accountable. He totally misses the point that Clinton’s activity was willfully done against the State Departmentap very explicit rules against using a private server. And I must point out that many crimes are committed and yield no “personal gain” to the perpetrator. Drivers killing someone while drunk gain nothing. They stand to lose much if convicted.
I say let it play out. In my opinion, Clinton’s power is impeding progress toward justice.
