I know I’m just an old retired guy, and nobody cares what I think. But I can’t help reflecting on last Thursday’s article about a recent annual event in England that sets the world’s fashion trends. I look at the photos of these models and wonder whatever happened to human beauty. To me they look anemic, half-starved, sexless and unhappy — like somebody just dug them up.
I think the world’s falling apart, and there are too many drug commercials on the evening news. I can’t imagine who I’m going to vote for this year. But I’m pretty happy, and I like most of the people I meet. These people, to me, are anything but attractive.
