A man who was killed in a car crash in Lakewood early Monday has been identified.
The driver of the Pontiac was 36-year-old Shawn Ward from Thornton, according to a news release from Lakewood Police Department. There were no passengers in his car.
., when he hit a traffic light pole near Kentucky Drive. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.
The crash is still under investigation.
