Crime investigators in El Paso County are asking for the public’s help in identifying an armed robber.
On Sunday, May 29, an armed robber held up the Knights Inn, 2850 S. Circle Drive, according to an El Paso County Sheriff’s Office media release.
A man entered the lobby, went to the main desk and pointed a gun at the clerk, demanding money.
The armed robber ran away with cash, toward the Hotel Elegante.
Investigators describe the suspect as a white man, about 5 feet 3 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a camouflage baseball cap, a dark-colored windbreaker, camouflage military pants and sneakers. The robber was carrying a medium-size duffel bag with a shoulder strap.
