
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and booked a woman accused of stabbing a man Sunday afternoon.
Deputies responded about 2:25 p.m. to a stabbing near Forest Service Road 320C on Mount Herman Road, according to a news release. Dispatch then received another call soon after about a man bleeding near the intersection of Mount Herman Road.
The male victim, who has not yet identified, left the scene in a black Mazda SUV toward Monument but was later contacted by the Monument Police Department and transported to a hospital, the release said. He was treated for non-life-threatening wounds and later released.
The suspect, identified by police as 32-year-old Linda Eslinger, has been booked on second-degree assault charges.
