After reading Lauren Kohn’s letter to the editor, I feel that I must respond with facts, not myth. Kohn states, “Today’s immigration policy is to let anyone into the country unless there is proof of a specific reason to keep them out.” The truth is that there is a complex set of regulations that screens anyone wishing to immigrate to the United States. A quick search of the subject online reveals that the screening process is grueling for anyone (even Muslims) wishing to immigrate.
