An Aurora man died Saturday from a stab wound to his chest, and no one has been charged in his death.

The victim, Jose Omar Carrasco, 34, sustained the fatal stab wound during a domestic incident, the Arapahoe County coroner said Monday evening in a news release. The death was ruled a homicide.

Police were called to an apartment on the 300 block of South Ironton Street at 3:31 p.m. They found Carrasco unrepsonsive, according to an Aurora Police Department post on its crime blog.

Officers performed CPR on the man, and he was transported to a hospital, where he died, police said.

A woman was involved in the incident, but she had not been arrested in connection with the stabbing, police said. Police are not looking for other suspects.

Police declined to identify the woman at the apartment. The investigation is ongoing.
