
State Rep. Dan Pabon pleaded guilty Tuesday to driving under the influence and was sentenced to one year probation.
Pabon couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
Denver for making a prohibited turn at Colfax Avenue and Glenarm Place in downtown Denver.
At the time, police wrote in a probable cause affidavit that the Denver Democrat’s speech was slurred, his breath had a strong smell of alcohol and he was unsteady on his feet. Authorities said he failed a roadside sobriety test.

“I apologize to my wife, my kids, my family, my colleagues and my community,” the north Denver lawmaker said, sobbing. “I will work tirelessly to restore your confidence in me.”
