
Suspect assaults medics at DIA. On July 9, a man was arrested by Denver police after he tried to assault two paramedics at Denver International Airport, 8400 Pena Boulevard. The suspect was not allowed to board his flight and sought out paramedics to take him to the hospital. The suspect then tried to punch a medic who was helping him. He was taken to the ground and transported to a hospital.
Man interferes with police during dog search. A man was arrested and taken to detox July 6 after he yelled at police and interfered with their investigation in the 2000 block of Sheridan Boulevard. Police had gone to the location after a woman had reported her dog stolen and suspected it to be at this address. When they arrived, the suspect came out of a nearby bar and began cursing at officers. He was advised to leave, but refused.
Robbery at gas station. On July 7, a woman called police to report that she was robbed while pumping gas in the 400 block of West Florida Avenue. She said a man approached her and demanding her things. When she said she had nothing, the man struck her with his pistol and took her wallet and purse.
Woman robbed at bus stop. A woman called police July 11 after she was robbed while waiting at bus stop near the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Josephine Street. The woman said a car entered the parking lot behind the bus stop and three men got out and attempted to take her purse. While fighting back, she was punched in the face.
Man causes disturbance in LoDo. On July 8, a man was arrested by after causing a disturbance at LoDo Bar and Grill, 1946 Market St. When police arrived, they found the suspect actively involved in a fight and pushing people. He was taken into custody and cited for public fighting.
