A long time ago on a field far, far away, someone Photoshopped the Colorado Rockies as “Star Wars” characters. The results were…entertaining.
Atlanta ties it up, making this a 2-2 ballgame. We're in the bottom of the 3rd now.

Saturday night was the wildly popular “Star Wars” night at Coors Field for the Rebel Rockies as they took on the Imperial Atlanta Braves. The event featured free giveaways of “Star Wars”-themed shirts and a Charlie Blackmon bobble head as well a pregame parade of costumed fans. Not to mention some pretty funny tweets.
Scoreless 1st inning for Tyler Anderson.–-Nolan are hitting 1-2-3.

“Chewy” Blackmon and Nolan “Aresolo” represented some great choices in Rockies/Star Wars crossover references, but why was Daniel Descalso C3P0? Maybe it’s because of his reputation as a utility man for the Rockies.
Middle 2nd, ATL up 1-0. , & are due up in the bottom half.

Also, the Rockies maybe made a statement by casting rookie shortstop Trevor Story as Anakin Skywalker. Is Story the chosen one? Who knows, but he did use his force powers to by a rookie shortshop in the NL during the game.
Fans inside the stadium got in on the action as well, taking to twitter with photos and using #StarWarsNight.
The Braves retake the lead.
Nolan will lead off the bottom of the 4th, trailing 3-2.

It's ! Where the cosplay parade is set to Hall and Oates, because that makes sense…right?

Coors Field was popping more than the Mos Eisley Cantina. Nice work, Rox. May the Force be with you.
