Gun drawn in driver clash. A man pulled a gun on another driver following a road rage incident in the intersection of North Meadows Drive and Butterfield Crossing Drive in Castle Rock on July 13. The incident started when the first driver took too long to make a left turn for the other driver’s taste, causing that driver to flip off the lead car. The lead driver let the man pass and followed him to his house. That driver who lived there got out with a pistol at his side, and the other driver called police. No charges have been filed.

Grown man bullies kid. A young boy reported that a man approached him in the pool at the Castle Rock Recreation Center, 2301 Woodlands Blvd., Castle Rock, and said “Gimme that ball,” pinched him and took a basketball he was playing with. Police photographed the pinch mark but did not find the man.

Car stolen after keys left inside. A man’s 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from in front of his home in the 500 block of Millbrook Circle, Castle Rock, overnight on July 21. The off-road vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside.

Suspect tried to steal taser. An unidentified suspect tried to assault a security guard and grab the guard’s taser at a business in the 9300 block of Crown Crest Boulevard, Parker, on July 14. The suspect was arrested.

Purse poached from car. A woman’s purse was stolen from inside her car in the 21000 block of Omaha Avenue, Parker, on July 20.
