
Some of us are at a part in our lives where enduring sweaty music festivals in the heat is a recipe for a bad time.
Midwest party pumpers over at have shown fans of the punk persuasion a little bit of mercy. After this year’s Riot Fest, a slew of headlining acts will serve as after-show main attractions at Summit Music Hall, Marquis Theater and Hi-Dive from Sept. 2-4 during the long Labor Day weekend.
The veterans of the punk scene look to run rampant over the three days with The Aquabats, Against Me!, Planes Mistaken For Stars, Bleached, Lagwagon, Thursday and more.
Doors will open at 8 p.m. for Hi-Dive (tickets $13.00 advanced / $15.00 day), 9 p.m. for Summit Music Hall ($20.00 advanced / $23.00 day of show) and 10 p.m. for Marquis Theater ($25.00). You can buy tickets via or .
The 2016 Riot Fest boasts headliners the Original Misfits, Jane’s Addiction, Death Cab for Cutie, Ween and more over at the National Western Complex. Just follow the smell of dry dog food from the Purina factory off of I-70 and you’re almost there.
