NFL reporter Cameron Wolfe gives a brief summary of how Broncos quarterbacks Mark Sanchez, Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch performed at practice Saturday. Hint: It wasn’t good.

“I’m not really happy with practice today,” coach Gary Kubiak said. “We didn’t play very well offensively. We handled it defensively. We didn’t handle it offensively. Itap disappointing to me.”

Sanchez – Once again, the biggest impact play of the day for the veteran was one he threw to the other team. Searching for receiver Emmanuel Sanders on the right side of the field, Sanchez instead found lurking cornerback Lorenzo Doss, who ran the interception back for six. Sanchez also had a near-interception to Aqib Talib in seven-on-seven drills.

Siemian – Both Sanchez and Siemian got significant reps Saturday with the first-team offense going against the first-team defense. Like his counterpart, Siemian didn’t have much success. Siemian did connect on a timely deep ball to DeVier Posey in seven-on-sevens, his best throw of the day.

Lynch – The rookie’s day was summed up by a sequence where Kubiak called him over and loudly chewed him out for his performance during seven-on-sevens. Lynch did show off his mobility keeping a couple plays alive, particularly on a pass to Ronnie Hillman in a red-zone drill. He also nearly threw an interception to safety Antonio Glover.
