A juvenile riding a bicycle was hit by a motor vehicle Tuesday night in southeast Denver.
The accident happened at about 8 p.m. at the intersection of East Florida Avenue and South Quebec Street, said Tyrone Campbell, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
The person driving the motor vehicle remained at the scene. The bicyclist was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
