Very few people encourage us to be informed voters. Even fewer encourage us to do our best to try to verify the information that is available to us. Some important information is hidden from us and it is often difficult to know the truth. If voters remain as poorly informed as they are now, it is hard to believe that participating in elections can do much to help us.
