For those looking for work in Colorado or just a new job, the state’s and local-run Workforce Centers have created a calendar of future job-related events at throughout the state.
But it’s also best to check with your local workforce center for events and jobs. The Arapahoe and Douglas County center has planned that are not listed in the state calendar.
Gov. John Hickenlooper also declaring September Workforce Development Month. Translation: Lots of themed-job events at local development centers. Starting Sept. 5, the first week’s focus is advanced manufacturing, followed by technology, transportation and lastly hospitality and tourism.
