Neco Benson has been taken into custody after crashing his car into the Day Care Center at 1155 S. Havana St. on August 31, 2016. Aurora Police DepartmentA driver arrested after , according to police, has been identified.
Police on Thursday said the suspect, who faces the possibility of multiple charges, is Neco Benson.
Benson, 27, is being held on suspicion of vehicular eluding, possession of a controlled substance, driving while under the influence of drugs, reckless driving and reckless endangerment.
Benson, driving a blue Dodge Dart, crashed into Bright Stars Child Care, 1155 S. Havana St., on Wednesday injuring an adult employee and two children, according to police.
Police said that when Benson crashed into the day care, he was fleeing officers after an earlier auto collision.
He is being held at the Arapahoe County jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
