Re: Sept. 9 news story.

The foundation of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign is his assertion that will promote the United States over everyone else and that he will make the United States safe, because he is smarter than everyone else. Last week, he appeared on state-sponsored Russian television and disparaged the United States. Trump’s campaign stated they did not know the interview would be on Russian television. His unwitting support of state-sponsored Russian television demonstrates the emptiness of his assertion of competence. While he brags about the “extreme vetting” a Trump administration will apply to potential immigrants, his campaign cannot execute a simple Google search to vet a television appearance.
