Peter Joseph LabellaPeter Joseph Labella Jr. of Erie pleaded guilty to the charge in July. An accusation of internet luring was dismissed as part of an agreement with the Adams County district attorney’s office, which prosecuted the case.
Labella, 57, was arrested in March after authorities say he tried to lure a child using the internet.
He thought he was in contact through social media with a person he believed was a 13-year-old girl, investigators said, but was really a Brighton police officer. He eventually arranged a meeting with an undercover detective posing as the child, according to officials.
