A motorcycle driver died Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital after a collision with a truck.
The crash happened about 1 p.m. in the 10600 block of Irma Drive, according to the Northglenn Police Department.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a man lying in the middle of the street. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Witnesses told investigators that the motorcycle was northbound on Irma at high speed when it collided with a truck making a left turn.
The name of the victim was not released.
Police did not say whether the truck driver was cited in the incident.
