Donald Trump plans to attack Hillary Clinton as an “enabler” of Bill Clinton. If she’s wise she won’t dignify this with an response. Still, I don’t think Trump should go unanswered, so let me suggest the following:
Hillary loves Bill. Always has. She also loves her family and was willing to accept personal humiliation to keep it from being torn apart.
Also, Bill Clinton on his worst day is twice the man Trump will ever be. He doesn’t whine and he doesn’t pout. He can accept criticism without going on tirades. He can acknowledge when he is wrong and he isn’t afraid to say, “I’m sorry.”
Bill Clinton is a good man, maybe even a great man, but he has deep flaws. Still, for Trump, with three marriages, two divorces and a history of infidelities, to lecture is not only hypocritical, itap despicable.
