Aurora police searching for possible kidnapping, assault suspect

The Aurora Police Department Major Crimes Unit issued an alert early Saturday evening as it continues to investigate a possible kidnapping and assault that occurred in the 500 Block of Sable Blvd.

Suspect Christopher Rimpson was seen assaulting and dragging a woman, believed to be Britteny Fields (who also uses the last name Rimpson), into his vehicle around 1 p.m. this afternoon, according to .

Rimpson, 47, is a bald Hispanic male who was last seen wearing a tan shirt and blue jeans. Fields, 34, is a black or Hispanic female with curly hair last seen wearing a red jacket and blue jeans.

They left in a 1994 GMC Suburban bearing Colorado license plate QFM799.

“If you see this vehicle or the two involved parties do not approach them and call 911,” the department wrote. Anyone with information about this case or the whereabouts of the suspect or victim are asked to call Agent Jamie Krieger at 303-739-6113.
