Sunday was a rough day for Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer.
Not only did he have a tough time putting the Broncos in good field position on kickoffs, and did not see a single pass thrown his way, but he also had to wear a jersey with someone else’s name on it.
Denver Post photographer Helen Richardson got a shot of Latimer wearing a jersey with the name “LATTIMER” on the back.
Apparently the extra “T” did not stand for touchback.
Latimer took three kickoffs out of the end zone Sunday against the Falcons, but failed to reach the 25-yard line each time. He took one from 4 yards deep back to the 16-yard line, then one from 3 yards deep back to the 19 and finally took one from a yard deep back to the 22.
With his returns failing to reach the 25-yard line, it drew instant reaction on Twitter.
Poor decision by Cody Latimer … cost the Broncos nine yards and four seconds.

Somebody tell Cody Latimer to take a knee. My word.

So, how much longer is Cody Latimer going to cost the Broncos field position?

Please stop returning kickoffs in the end zone, !

After this game, I'm looking up how many times Cody Latimer has run a kickoff out of the end zone and how many have failed to reach the 25.
