Brighton carried a 14-0 lead into halftime and hung on for a 21-14 win over Niwot on Friday, the Bulldogs’ first win of the year in the Longs Peak Conference opener.
Juniors Jes Ramirez and Dylan Kroll each rushed for a touchdown, while sophomore quarterback Robbie Coffin connected with junior wideout Shea Hailey for another in the Bulldogs’ win. Brighton (1-5) travels to Grand Junction on Saturday, while Niwot (3-3) hosts Loveland on Saturday.
