Broncos running back C.J. Anderson almost rumbled Denver back into the game Thursday against the Chargers.
Almost.
Late in the fourth quarter with Denver down 21-10, Anderson caught a short pass from Trevor Siemian and broke through San Diego’s defense, bouncing off of defenders into the end zone.
But a holding penalty on Russell Okung nullified the effort. The Broncos would lose 21-13.
