
As the presidential campaign heats up, Colorado is becoming the site of a flurry of activity, with the most recently scheduled event a new Denver rally for Hillary Clinton held by U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont and U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.
Sanders and Warren will appear together to campaign for Clinton at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Tivoli Turnhalle, Tivoli Student Union on the Auraria Campus in Denver. Doors open to the public at 6 p.m.
Donald Trump previously announced that he will visit Colorado Springs on Tuesday. Trump’s rally will take place at the Norris-Penrose Event Center at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Doors open at 10 a.m. The El Paso County Republicans will host a debate watch at Stargazers Theatre Wednesday. Doors for the debate watch open at 6 p.m.
On Monday, Sanders will appear at Colorado State University in Fort Collins to continue campaigning for Clinton. The Monday event will occur at 2 p.m. at the Colorado State University Lory Student Center, Grand Ballroom, in Fort Collins. Doors open to the public at 1 p.m.
Sanders is then scheduled to go down to the University of Colorado in Boulder, where a , ColoradoCare, is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. at Farrand Field.
Also, Donald Trump Jr. will join the National Rifle Association for an event that starts at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the Centennial Gun Club.
