Police in Federal Heights are searching for a suspect wanted in a shooting Thursday morning at a mobile home park.
Julian Jose Richards is suspected in the investigation.
Officers were called about 11:15 a.m. on reports of a shooting at Countryside Village Mobile Home Park on the 9800 block of North Federal Boulevard where they found a person with a gunshot wound. Further information on the wounded person’s condition was not released.
Federal Heights Elementary School was placed on lock-down and a reverse 911 message was sent to residents in the area as police investigated.
Federal Heights’ police chief did not immediately return a message Thursday.
