
Stolen before sold. A man who works for United Road Services called police to the 8900 block of Yosemite Street, Commerce City, on Sept. 21 because someone cut the tow straps and stole a 2017 Nissan Armada off the back of his transport truck while he was pulled over, on his way to deliver it to a dealership There are no suspects.
Shoeless and screaming. A patrolling Northglenn police officer heard a woman yelling at a man Oct. 10 in the parking lot of Ramada Plaza, 10 E. 120th Ave. The man had warrants and allowed the officer to search his car. The officer found drugs and possibly stolen property, so the man was arrested.
Teenage drinking party. Residents in the 8400 block of Stacy Drive, Federal Heights, called police Sept. 9 about a bunch of kids yelling and smashing bottles against the apartment buildings. Officers found a party of mostly underage kids who were drinking beer and cited seven of them.
Take it away. Northglenn police were called to the area of East 108th Avenue and Adams Street on Oct. 9 because a man said his cousin pointed a gun at him and threatened to shoot him in the back. Police found the suspects and confiscated the gun. The victim didn’t want to press charges.
Funny money. A woman who lives in the 5700 block of East 63rd Avenue, Commerce City, reported that she received a counterfeit $20 from a nearby Walmart on Sept. 21.
Damaged mailbox. Police responded to a man’s home Sept. 2 in the 9100 block of Rampart Street, Federal Heights, because someone took a baseball bat to his mailbox and broke it.
