A person died Wednesday night in a motorcycle crash in Wheat Ridge.
The fatal crash happened at about 8 p.m. on Wadsworth Boulevard near West 48th Avenue, according to the Wheat Ridge Police Department.
Wasdsworth was closed from West 44th Avenue to I-70 because of the crash. Traffic is being detoured, so drivers should avoid the area if possible.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. This story will be updated.
