The Larimer County Coroner’s Office said the man killed when a pickup truck drove onto a busy Fort Collins sidewalk during the annual Tour de Fat parade and festival on Saturday was a Denver resident.

Joshua Robert Douglass, 33, died of multiple blunt force injuries, the Coroner’s Office announced Tuesday.

Douglass was one of at least four other pedestrians struck Saturday when the pickup reversed out of a parking spot, hit another vehicle and drove onto a sidewalk. Douglass, the driver of the pickup and the four other pedestrians were taken to a hospital.

Detectives are investigating the crash, including whether impairment was a factor, police said. It does not appear any of the pedestrians were targeted, they said Saturday.
