Denver Police located a teenager and vehicle sought under an Amber Alert Friday night in Broomfield and determined that no crime or abduction occurred.
“It appears that no crime was committed,” said John White, a spokesman for the Denver Police Department.
On Friday morning, Denver police received reports of a possible abduction of a girl in her early teens by a man driving a Dodge Caravan with Oregon license plates in the area of the Sam’s Club parking lot, near the intersection of East 36th Avenue and Quebec Street.

But police weren’t able to locate the vehicle and no missing persons report was filed. The Colorado Department of Public Safety issued the alert Friday evening, which helped authorities locate the vehicle around 10:45 p.m. in Broomfield, White said.
Investigators could find no evidence of a crime or injuries and the alert was cancelled around midnight.
“Part of that process was reaching out to agencies in Oregon,” White said.
