No. 2 Chatfield erased a 22-10 halftime deficit to knock off No. 8 Dakota Ridge 36-29 Friday night at Jeffco Stadium in a pivotal Plains League showdown.

The Chargers trailed 29-24 after three quarters of play, but scored the game’s final 19 points to come out with the win. Senior Tylor Rowles had a key 69-yard touchdown reception from junior quarterback Colton Arne on the final play of the third quarter to shift the momentum back to the Chargers.

Chatfield (8-1, 4-0) closes its regular season with a home showdown against Heritage next week, while Dakota Ridge (5-4, 4-1) finishes up on the road at Adams City.
