Monarch rolls to 42-14 win over Fort Collins in Northern League play

The Coyotes locked up the league title and an automatic playoff berth with one week to go in the regular season

Monarch jumped out to a 28-14 lead at halftime over Fort Collins and did not look back, adding two more touchdowns in the second half en route to a 42-14 win over the Lambkins on Friday night at Spangenberg Field.

Senior running backs Alex Bradfield, Zach Bastres and Noah Snyder each rushed for over 100 yards for Monarch, with Bradfield leading the way with 188 yards and three TDs. Senior quarterback Stone MacIntyre also tossed a touchdown to junior Ben Cole.

The Coyotes (6-3, 4-0) close the regular season next week at home against Greeley Central, while the Lambkins (2-7, 1-3) finish up at No. 6 Windsor.
