BB  shooting spree. Several people living in or around the 10800 block of Carrol Lane, Northglenn, called police Oct. 8 about broken or shattered windows on their cars. It appeared to officers that a car full of people were driving around the neighborhood, shooting at parked cars with BB guns. There are no suspects.

Man breaks jail cell. On Sept. 9, a man in custody at the Federal Heights Police Department, 2380 W. 90th Ave., was punching the window frame of his holding cell when he broke the metal frame and stuck his hands out of the cell. Officers took him to the Adams County Detention Facility.

Prescription fraud. A pharmacist at the Walgreens at 10390 Federal Blvd., Federal Heights, called police Sept. 3 because a man was attempting to pick up two bottles of pills with a fake doctor’s note which misspelled the doctor’s name. The man was arrested.

Neighborhood watch. A resident in the 11400 block of Melody Drive, Northglenn, called police Oct. 3 because they saw someone drive up to the dumpster of the apartment complex and unload bags of trash there. The witness relayed the license plate to police, who confirmed that the person was in fact a resident at that complex.

Rummaged in the driveway. On Oct. 7, someone broke into a man’s car while it was parked in front of his home in the 300 block of Malley Drive, Northglenn. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Stolen car. A woman’s car was taken from the parking lot of her apartment complex in the 1600 block of West 85th Avenue Sept. 6. There are no suspects.
