Colorado wildlife officials are seeking information on the poaching of a bull moose found dead near the town of Divide over the weekend.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife says the animal died sometime between Saturday and Sunday morning. The moose was found off of Teller County Road 3 northwest of Divide.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call district wildlife managers Tim Kroening at 719-227-5281 or Phil Gurule at 719-227-5283. Tipsters could receive a reward for information that leads to a citation.

Tipsters can also remain anonymous by submitting information to Operation Game Thief — a statewide program designed to allow people with information regarding poaching-related crimes to remain anonymous and not have to testify in court. To register a tip through OGT, call 1-877-265-6648.
