A former president of the state Senate, Carroll effectively fought to bring companies with competitive wages into Colorado, cap tuition increases in higher education, and reject rate hikes by big insurance companies. In contrast, three-term Congressman Mike Coffman is part of our broken, obstructionist Congress. Backed by dark money from the billionaire Koch Brothers, Coffman says climate change is “debatable.” His wife is Colorado’s attorney general, and it is time to break up this cozy arrangement.
