
Convenience store kerfuffle. A clerk at 7-Eleven at 3099 W. Mineral Ave., Littleton, said that a patron shoved him Oct. 8 after he asked the man to leave the store. The clerk said the man was acting strangely, and when he approached to ask him to leave, the man shoved him into another clerk behind him. Police located the suspect on a nearby trail and cited him for harassment.
Heartbreak multiplier. A man who recently moved to the 5400 block of Landmark Place, Greenwood Village, from St. Louis reported that his ex-fiance’s engagement ring had vanished sometime during his move. He was seeking to return the ring Oct. 14 to the Missouri store he bought it from when he realized it was gone. It was valued at $9,000.
Not the proper way to go antiquing. Someone stole display items left out by staff members at Dwell Antiques, 5901 S. University, Suite E, Greenwood Village, between noon and 1 p.m. Oct. 24. An employee helping another customer out to their car fist noticed the theft. The items taken were a $150 white table and a $49 green basket. Cameras at nearby bank captured no images of the suspect.Hubby horrible. A woman staying at an undisclosed location in Arapahoe County called police Oct. 5 to report her estranged husband had been contacting her and threatening her repeatedly since getting out of jail in August for assaulting her. Text messages the victim showed police included, “I’ll come find and kill you.” Police found that the husband was violating three restraining orders by contacting his wife. Detectives were planning to seek a warrant for his arrest.
