Abundant sunshine Tuesday in the Denver metro area offers one less excuse not to go vote.
The high temperature is expected to climb to 66 degrees this afternoon, which is 10 degrees above normal for Nov. 8, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

A soft southwest breeze of 6 mph will get even calmer as the voting deadline of 7 p.m. arrives.
The sun will come out Wednesday as well. Forecasters predict a high of 69 degrees Wednesday, which is expected to be the warmest day of the week.
It could be sunny and breezy Thursday, with wind gusts up to 20 mph. The high temperature is expected to reach 65 degrees.
On Friday, which is Veterans Day, the high temperature will be about 61 degrees.
The NWS forecast calls for 67 on Saturday, 66 on Sunday and 68 on Monday. Sunshine will persist through the weekend and the first part of next week with highs in the mid-to-upper 60s, according to the NWS.
